Me, You and Us
Workshop on Identity, Diversity and Community
Focus Area: Identity (M/F/LGBTQ+) । Age: 4–14 । SDG 10 – Reduce Inequality
Description:
“Me, You & Us” is about identity and diversity, including gender, expression, differences and belonging. Children learn that all people are unique – and that we all have the right to be who we are.
The workshop strengthens empathy, inclusion and respect for the identity of both M, F and LGBTQ+ people.
Creative Practical Activity
Children create an “Identity Flower” – a colorful flower, where each leaf represents something unique about them: interests, strengths, personality, hopes or dreams.
- Fill in the flower petals with your own words and colors
- Focus on identity without categories or boxes
- Shared reflection: “Our differences make the community stronger”
Digital Activity
Children use Microsoft Designer to create a digital mini-poster: “This is me!” – a visual expression of their identity, strengths and colors.
- Choose colors, symbols and icons that represent them

- Save and share the poster
